Note To Self


Sometimes things just feel so overwhelming, don't they? You're running around trying to keep the house in order, working, cooking, cleaning, looking after others as well as yourself, and on top of that - grief and the upset and trauma that it causes.


Stop. Breathe. Take a minute.


We're human, and life is tough at the best of times, add in grief and there is no surprise you feel overwhelmed.


The greatest lesson I ever learned was to stop, and just tiny steps. Not thinking outside the next 5 minutes, or an hour, or one task.


To those who read this and you're thinking, I get it, I am sending giant hugs to you all because I know how hard it is too.
